Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 300g Brussels sprouts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Juice of lemon
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Grill on medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet. Roast for about 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and whisk in flour for 1 minute. Gradually add milk while stirring until smooth. Add minced garlic and simmer until thickened. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted.
- Slice grilled chicken and serve it alongside roasted Brussels sprouts in bowls. Drizzle with creamy sauce.
