  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 300g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Juice of lemon
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Grill on medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). Toss halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet. Roast for about 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and whisk in flour for 1 minute. Gradually add milk while stirring until smooth. Add minced garlic and simmer until thickened. Stir in grated Parmesan until melted.
  4. Slice grilled chicken and serve it alongside roasted Brussels sprouts in bowls. Drizzle with creamy sauce.
