  • 1 1/2 lbs. flank steak
  • 2 T balsamic vinegar
  • 2 T fresh-squeezed juice (like lime)
  • 1 T gluten-free Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 T olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, fresh juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and olive oil.
  2. Trim excess fat from the flank steak and rub both sides with steak rub. Place it in a Ziploc bag, pour in the marinade, seal tightly, and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill to high heat (450-500°F). Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature.
  4. Grill on an angle for about 3 minutes until grill marks appear; rotate at an opposite angle for another 3 minutes.
  5. Flip the steak and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F (medium rare).
  6. Let rest covered with foil for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
