Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. flank steak
- 2 T balsamic vinegar
- 2 T fresh-squeezed juice (like lime)
- 1 T gluten-free Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 T olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, fresh juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and olive oil.
- Trim excess fat from the flank steak and rub both sides with steak rub. Place it in a Ziploc bag, pour in the marinade, seal tightly, and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- Preheat your grill to high heat (450-500°F). Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature.
- Grill on an angle for about 3 minutes until grill marks appear; rotate at an opposite angle for another 3 minutes.
- Flip the steak and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F (medium rare).
- Let rest covered with foil for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
