- 5–6 ripe peaches, cut into wedges
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter, cubed
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Place cubed butter in a baking dish and let it melt for about 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, ¾ cup brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla until just combined.
- Toss peach wedges with remaining brown sugar and maple syrup in another bowl.
