  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Gradually add flour to the mixture until crumbly.
  4. Press about two-thirds of the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  5. In another bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg before spreading them evenly over the crust.
  6. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apple layer and sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top.
  7. Bake for approximately 40–45 minutes until golden brown and tender.
  8. Allow cooling completely before cutting into bars.
