  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter; press into a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes; let cool.
  4. Combine apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour; spread over cooled crust.
  5. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth; add eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream.
  6. Pour cheesecake mixture over apples and bake for 60-70 minutes until set but still slightly jiggly.
  7. Cool at room temperature then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. For salted caramel sauce: Melt sugar until amber; stir in butter, then cream and salt.
