  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 pints strawberry ice cream
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter (slightly softened)
  • 23 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 tablespoons milk (or whipping cream)
  • 1/4 cup freeze dried strawberries
  • 10 Golden Oreos (or other vanilla sandwich cookies)

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8×8 inch pan by lining it with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Crush the Golden Oreos into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. Allow the strawberry ice cream to soften slightly, then spread half over the crust.
  4. Beat together softened butter, powdered sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth; spread over the first layer of ice cream.
  5. Crush freeze-dried strawberries and remaining Golden Oreos; sprinkle over the frosting layer.
  6. Add the remaining strawberry ice cream on top and smooth out. Cover and freeze for at least four hours before serving.
